1. Entry forms must be returned by Friday, April 18, 2008. Entry forms may also be mailed (must be received by Friday, April 18th) to Woman's Club of Kountze, P.O. Box 1368, Kountze, TX 77625 or may be given to club members Glenda Williams, Jenny Parrott, Shannon Anderson, or Tami Simon at KES, Amy Killough at KMS, or Laurie Overstreet or Billie Jean Tate at KHS.

2. Any girl living in the Kountze Independent School District or presently attending a Kountze school, who is in one of the following age groups may enter:

GROUP 1 "Miss Tiny Tot" Ages 3-5 (not in Kindergarten)

GROUP 2 "Our Lovely Miss" Grades K-2

GROUP 3 "Little Miss Kountze" Grades 3-5

GROUP 4 "Junior Miss Kountze" Grades 6-8

GROUP 5 "Miss Kountze" Grades 9-12

3. Club members will be at the middle school at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18th for check-in and registration. Rehearsal will begin at 6:00 for groups 1, 2, 3 and at 7:00 for groups 4 and 5. All contestants are required to attend rehearsal.

4. A photographer will be available for pictures. Pictures MUST be paid for by Friday night. Prices of packages vary. There will be a club member at rehearsal to accept forms and payment.

5. The pageant will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19th. Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for students. Only contestants and pre-school children will be admitted at no charge.

6. Contestants are NOT allowed to wear pantsuits or shorts.

7. Each contestant is encouraged to provide her own sponsor. We have found from past experience that merchants prefer to be asked by their patrons to sponsor a contestant rather than being assigned to someone. Any business (local or otherwise), parent, or individual may sponsor a contestant for a fee of $25. The sponsor fee MUST be turned in with the entry form. If, however, you are unable to locate a sponsor, please contact a member of the Woman's Club and we will make every effort to locate a sponsor for you.

I agree to hold harmless the Members, staff of KISD for accidents, loss, or injuries incurred in relation to this event. I understand that photos of my child participating in this event may be taken and used to promote future events. I understand that Judges' decisions are final and payment of fees and signing of this form constitutes acceptance of those decisions.
