A library card may be obtained by completing a form with a contact person, phone number and address. You must have a valid picture ID or Texas Driver's License. There are no out of county fees charged. Kountze Public Library is a Member of the TEXSHARE Card Program.

All materials may be checked out for a two-week period.

Fines are 10 cents a day with a $5.00 cap.

FAXING: Use of the FAX machine is $1.00 per page outgoing and 20c per page incoming.

Copying: A public copier is available. Copies are 20 cents per page and can be paid for at the front desk.

Divorce Packets: For sale at $25.00 per packet. The library cannot accept personal checks or debit cards. 

Internet: Free access with library card.

The library is glad to accept book donations on a limited basis but requires a release signed by the patron. We are unable to accept Reader's Digest Books, outdated encyclopedias or National Geographic magazines due to space limitations. We ask that book donations not be left in the outside book drop or on the porch. We also ask that donations of materials not be left without prior permission from staff.
